The Needham Education Foundation (NEF) awards grants that benefit students, teachers administrators and individuals with a focus on education and the Needham public schools. NEF is preparing to award Fall grants and is accepting applications.  What makes the Needham non-profit unique is that they are able to award grants for those unable to attain them in a more traditional vein.  A recent article at Boston.com describes NEF as “an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organization raising funds for the enrichment of public school children in Needham, Massachusetts.”  Large grants, up to $15,000, and small grants, up to $5,000, are available.  The deadlines are November 24th for the large grant applications and October 2nd for the small grant applications.   If you have someting in mind to better the eduction of students in Needham MA visit www.NEFNeedham.org today for an application and more information on grants that have been awarded in the past.
