In the two weeks from October 1 – October 15, 2009, four single-family houses were introduced and six sold*. We have had 15 price reductions during this two-week period, which tells us that many sellers are adjusting their prices in an attempt to capitalize on activity and sales during the remaining six weeks (or so) of the fall market. As of October 15, 2009, there are 107 homes for sale, which means our inventory has increased 23% since October 15, 2008, when we had 87 active listings.
