Getting Your House Ready to Sell in Metrowest Boston? Tips for Creating More Storage in Your Home

September 2nd, 2010 Pinnacle Team Posted in Uncategorized Comments Off

Not enough places to store all the clutter in your Metrowest home? It can be amazing how much we accumulate over the years.  What seemed like adequate storage when we first moved in to a house, can seem totally inadequate in short time. To keep your home in the Boston suburbs clutter-free everything needs a place and adding storage may not be as difficult as you think.
Storage is a key element to any home
Storage areas can come in all shapes and sizes. Take a good look at your home and try to search out areas that are not being used. Often the space underneath a staircase is not used and can make ideal storage. In addition furniture can add storage space. A built-in window seat can double as a storage bench.

Closets are another area that are not always organized as well as they could be. Closet organizers can be simple and purchased at stores like Home Depot and Target or can be custom built by a builder.

A larger home does not necessarilty mean more storage so whether you have a small home or a large one make the most of what you have and get creative to maximize your storage and minimize your clutter.

If you are considering selling your home in the metrowest area of Boston, contact  Pinnacle Residential Properties in Wellesley MA to learn more about real estate in Wellesley, Weston , Needham, Dover and the surrounding communities.

A lot of Massachusetts real estate is going under contract the first day on the market

According to a recent article in the Boston Globe real estate inventory is down in Massachusetts and properties $600,000 or less in value are getting swooped up the first day on the market.  In Wellesley, Needham and Weston, properties are selling fast up to $1million! Buyers are finding that often Massachusetts real estate has sold the first day on the market and for above asking price.  The low interest rates and tax incentives have the Spring buying season in full swing, yet without a lot available for buyers.
